ilateral are proud to be an environmentally responsible company. Sustainability is at the heart of our company and we therefore treat our environmental policy as our company policy.
ilateral are fully committed to reducing the impact our company has on the environment. This includes identifying the aspects of our business relative to this process, measurement and monitoring, providing solutions to reduce negative impacts, the prevention of pollution and a commitment to continually improve our environmental performance. We promote our environmental ethos and policies internally to our staff and externally to our clients, suppliers and partners.
Actions taken to promote for environmental responsibility:
- Monitor our energy usage and waste output.
- Actively reduce our waste through non-printing, recycling and re-use as much as possible.
- Embrace new and more efficient technologies to reduce energy consumption by providing better performance per watt or automated ‘power down when not in use’ policies.
- Purchase products and services from third party suppliers that share similar environmental positioning goals as our own.
- Ensure that all our activities and services comply with all relevant environmental legislations.
- Make our environmental policies known and obtainable, available to the public in printed and digital editions.
This policy is reviewed on an annual basis and will provide a framework for assessing and improving all environmental objectives and targets.
quality management policy
ilateral maintains a Quality Management Policy to ensure we continuously achieve improved customer satisfaction, a stable customer base and improved efficiency.
We do this in a number of ways:
- Identify problems early and rectify them as quickly as possible to minimise costs.
- Ensure the needs of our clients are clearly understood and met through close liaison at all stages of the project.
- Train all our staff to enable them to undertake their tasks within their areas of responsibility.
- Provide all required resources to complete the project are made available.
- All appropriate documentation is created, maintained and controlled..
- All our staff have extensive industry experience and follow quality assurance processes tailored for web projects.
- ilateral are members of the IWDRO (Internet and Web Development Regulatory Office) and the IET (Institute of Engineering and Technology) and follow their best practice, as well as working to the web and guidelines specified by The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)
- Make our environmental policies known and obtainable, available to the public in printed and digital editions.

Access to our servers is restricted to dedicated locations and all passwords are strongly encrypted using modern encryption algorithms.
Can I request my data be deleted
You certainly can, just drop us an email or give us a call and speak to our Data Controller, Morven Lewis-Everley. Please be aware though that if you are one of our customers, then we are required by law to retain invoicing data about you and your business for 7 years and cannot delete this data until that time has passed.
